Our Story So Far

Welcome to Asharaa Rhodesian Ridgebacks. We are a family located in Kent in the UK living in a small village often used for backdrops of films and famous series, beautiful countryside, stunning walks, scenery, and history.
As a child growing up in London I was not fortunate enough to have a dog and in those days I would knock on neighbours' doors and ask if I could take their dog for a walk, something probably unheard of today.
Once I started working and had my own house the first dog I owned was a Dalmatian called “Ollie”. Ollie fitted in well with my life and my other great love horses. Over the years we then adopted a rescue Dalmatian “Ellie” and a lovely liver and white bitch called “Gemma”.
As years went on and our girls sadly crossed the rainbow bridge I got my first Ridgeback called “Milo”. Falling more in love with the breed we then saw a bitch pup who stole our hearts “Lilly” and that's where the story begins.
