At a very sad time in my life after the devastating sudden loss of Asha, we started looking into finding a bitch to come into our lives and bring some happiness and help balance the pack. I saw a litter in Germany, the Rubicon Red Kennel owned and loved by Michaela and Bjohn Jackobi. The family welcomed us on our three visits over to Germany and my heart was lost to a pretty little dark-eyed bitch pup. Even in those early weeks of her life, I can remember her being very independent and confident. Only joining in with the pups when she wanted to, she just had a presence about her.
Over the next couple of months, friends would say how lovely she was and would say “you should show her”, well this was a new world to me but it has opened the door to many new and good friends, many laughs and stories, and travels.
Our very first show was a Rhodesian Ridgeback Club Show and she won her class as a minor puppy bitch and that was the start of our showing journey together.
To say Pippa has changed my life is an understatement, this bitch has opened up a new world for me and I can only say I adore her.
We have had many adventures together, traveled far and she is my loyal companion.
To describe her character I would say she is a powerhouse. A bitch with endless energy and love for life, the biggest of hearts, and beautiful manners. She is my shadow, she knows my every mood if I'm unwell she will just lay with me, if I want to walk for miles she is by my side.
The one thing in Pippa's life which she enjoys the most is hunting. She is relentless, courageous, bold, and fearless, she covers the ground with ease and determination, and even being the smallest in size of all my girls she outruns them in speed and stamina every time.
I am honored and so proud to have her, I truly couldn't love her more.
